5 Thoughts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that develops leaders and enables young people with the greatest need, to realize their full potential as healthy, productive, responsible and compassionate global citizens. 5 Thoughts was started by a group of 5 parents with 1 common mission: To identify and create opportunities for children to realize their full potential. 5 Thoughts works within the community to develop programs across multiple concentrations to provide K-12 aged students within under-served communities with greater opportunities to succeed. We believe that: -All people have dignity, worth, and value -All children are entitled to an education -Cultural and individual diversity enriches the learning environment -A balanced learning experience occurs both inside and outside of the classroom -Every child can succeed if provided with the right opportunities to develop 5 Thoughts is currently in the process of starting a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) charter school in the Austin, TX.
