Pace MIAMI Center for Girls is a unique non-profit school and program for challenged teen girls 11-17 years old in need of alternative education and counseling support. A full-day academic school focused on a prevention and intervention program, Pace Miami is for girls who have suffered instability and trauma and consequently are failing in public school or at risk of becoming involved in the Juvenile Justice system. Pace Miami each year teaches approximately 60 girls year and is located in Allpatah, Miami. Since its start in 2014, Pace Miai has transformed hundreds of girls with its caring and loving approach to their growth. The holistic teaching model combines academics with personalized counseling for each girl, in a small classroom setting, with one-on-one counseling, case management, health and wellness coaching and positive decision-making skills. Funded exclusively by public funds including corporate donations and grants, Pace Miami's results are real and align to many corporates social responsibility goals of its corporate donors and partners. In 2015, PACE Miami was awarded the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Novo Award for Nonprofit Business Innovative Excellence, and was the recipients of Switchboard’s Innovation All-Star award presented to a non-profit organization that demonstrates creative and non-traditional approaches to solving community and organizational challenges. Housed in a beautiful, clean and safe facility in Allapattah neighborhood of Miami, Pace Miami is a beacon of hope for the diverse and needy Miami community of girls. Staffed with a highly talented team of teachers, counselors and administrators and led by a committed and compassionate Executive Director, Pace has grown exponentially since its launch in 2014 and welcomes new partners and sponsors. ***
