About Istanbul Concept Gallery and the Curator Işık Gençoğlu: Istanbul Concept Gallery has been established under the directorship of curator Işık Gençoğlu, who organizes exhibitions that give social messages and conducts works about art being accessible and understandable for everyone. With its permanent and volunteer creative team, gallery intends to carry out projects that that brings together creative industries and receive support from the IstanbulConcept’s accumulation of knowledge, who maintains the sustainable success they attained. Together with offering a platform to open, rent or share its exhibition space with corporate firms for private events, Istanbul Concept Gallery is also structured in a way to work with an appointment system that allows the gallery to open its doors to visitors 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. Gallery will perform a service to local and foreign guests with its event calendar programmed separately for daytime and evenings, program of workshop and seminars prepared by the competent representatives of their own various disciplines, store that contains an ever-growing product range, temporary exhibitions and special projects. Istanbul Concept Gallery has its sights set on building a sufficient archive in long term through all the projects it is going to carry out.
