Cambridge Cyrenians are a charity supporting homeless men and women in Cambridge, United Kingdom. Operating with a "homes not hostels" approach, new residents can expect to move into cosy shared environments with support available. Projects have project workers for one to one support, but residents are also able to access in-house counselors and the Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Cambridge Cyrenians also run a successful therapeutic allotment group for obtaining new skills, developing past skills and socialising. Also within the staff team is an Older Homeless Worker who is able to provide outreach support to those living independently after a history of homelessness.
