The International Facility Management Association (IFMA), founded in 1980, is the definitive and most widely recognized international association for facility management professionals. Established in 1990, IFMA NM celebrated 30 years in 2020! Our two organizations even share a common ancestry through our own Mary Gauer, CFM, and IFMA Fellow, who is a founding member of both International and our New Mexico Chapter. Since 1980, our IFMA NM board has focused on empowering our facility members to excel in their field, and to further assist their competency through education and presentations. Our board is always looking for ways to promote, define, and empower the success of our members.
