Ben Spurgin Insurance Agency was started by Ben Spurgin in 1931, and has been headed by his family ever since. Bob Spurgin came into the business in 1974 after completing his MBA at the University of Texas. Bob earned his CPCU designation (Chartered Property / Casualty Underwriter) and is the agency's President. Ben Spurgin Insurance Agency handles casualty heavy risks across a number of industries including: trucking, propane and gas haulers, non-profits and manufacturers and distributors. Products include: personal lines home, auto, umbrella and watercraft. Commercial insurance products include: auto liability, general liability, property, D&O, EPL, workers compensation and professional liability.
