Our founders and directors, Kevin Altermatt and Darren McGowan, were both originally engineers but soon applied their analytical minds to strategic consultancy. They’ve worked symbiotically together for over 20 years having mirrored one another’s careers – quite deliberately – through renowned firms such as A.T. Kearney, Corporate Value Associates and KPMG, and co-founding Pacific Strategy Partners along the way. Acutus is a natural evolution of their partnership and a culmination of their combined expertise to date. Over the years, our founders have assisted mining and building firms, farming and agriculture industries, educational institutions and top 20 ASX companies, among others, in finding positive paths forward. No matter the sector, our elite management team and senior analysts are immersed and hands on with every single client, devoting as much time and wisdom as a problem demands.
