A former 2-time Emmy-winning TV consumer/investigative reporter for 18 years, turned financial consultant for Smith Barney, Ellen has combined her 2 successful careers into her first book which rapidly became a bestseller. Sought after as a media consultant, Ellen worked for Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine, and then became one of their Cancer Project cooking instructors. She taught as many as 2 classes a day 5 days a week. With VegCoach, she continues her vegan lifestyle consulting in VegCoach, as well as her certified personal training and running coaching. When Covid stopped her career and book tour cold, she pivoted drawing from her lifetime in the construction industry, the National Press Club award for exposing real estate fraud and winning the St. Louis Home Builders "Homer" award for remodeling her home in 2001. During Covid, she adeptly manages to sell and list homes in SW Florida.
