Alliance Tanker Chartering Pte Ltd was conceived on 1st May 2002 by bringing together two very experienced individuals in the Singapore Tanker community. Channa Munasinghe and Timothy Lim have in excess of 60 years of experience in the Tanker Industry. The collective aim is to provide indigenous broking personnel who are committed to the development of a local organization. Alliance Tanker Chartering is a totally independent (100% owned and controlled by management) dynamic service orientated commercial tanker brokers based in Singapore specializing in chartering of Dirty and Clean Petroleum Products tankers. Our clients are International and National Companies involved in Crude Oil and refined products based in Asia. Our sphere of activity is Pacific Rim based and ranges from east of the Suez Canal to the West Coast of United States, including Australia and New Zealand. We have enjoyed growth through helping the expansion of our client’s business by making great efforts to understand our client’s constraints in order to provide optimum solutions for their long or short term requirements. With more than 30 years of experience in operations and logistics, the operational team is experienced to handle any issues that may arise. They have considerable experience in agency management as well as actual hands-on shipping experience. Adding to this expertise, we also have dedicated staff dealing with demurrage and other claims. Efficiency is vital to our clients’ success. We organize our operations on a one-to-one basis so that each client deals with one responsible operational liaison. One senior team member will handle all aspects of a fixture, from scheduling to collecting freights, ensuring an efficient working relationship which saves time and promotes accuracy. Our newly established Sale and Purchase team consist of competent and motivated brokers with a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the market.
