I graduated from RITCS School of Arts in june 2017 as a cinematographer and lighting technician. In september 2017 I started a one year postgraduate program at KASK School of Arts where I'm exploring the possibilities of digital storytelling and online media. My first work as a digital storyteller was in 2015 for the city of Lokeren. I made recaps of some local events in collab with TV Oost. I also made a promo video for a local service and teached a video workshop in context of Matchbox youth festival. My first internship was at VRT NWS where I learned about being an ENG camera operator. My second internship was at De Dag, an FBO production for VIER, directed by Gilles Coulier (Bevergem, Cargo.) I was video assist and camera operator of the B-unit. The last internship I did while studying at RITCS was a job as lighting technician at Arf & Yes for The Voice of Flanders. I assisted a 4x7 documentary shown on Canvas, directed by Frank Van Passel (Het varken van Madonna, De smaak van De Keyser.) Last summer I was occasionally second cam assist of the B-unit at Undercover, a deMensen production for Eén, directed by Frank Devos (Chaussée d'Amour.) At the moment I'm working as a videographer on a freelance basis. I'm videographer and photographer for Wijs digital agency where I make job offer videos, recaps and other imagery for social. I also did a campaign for Neckermann Belgium. The last project I did was a corporation with the city of Sint-Niklaas. Beside corporate videos I also shoot wedding videos, aftermovies, etc. I'm part of the Lokerse Feesten media team too, where I'm videographer, production assistant and Instagram responsible.
