Anchored on a patch of sun-bleached concrete, between the Pacific Ocean and the Venice Beach Boardwalk, is a corner of the world unlike any other. On any given day, you can rock up under LA's golden sunsets to witness the eclectic locale lace-up to ball at the Estadio De Dogtown. Venice Beach Football Club, or VBFC, is a community organization and club built by players, artists, musicians, and proud locals. You can find this beautiful mixture of outcasts, dreamers, has-been's & soon-to-be's, going toe-to-toe on the courts every Sunday at their local pickup game. Entertaining and inspiring the next generation of talent as they go.  VBFC has lit up the Banc of California with Nike, created a legendary mural with both Arsenal and the LA Galaxy, hoisted the Premier League trophy with Man City at the Venice Art Walls, balled up against Lucho Garcia & Barca's women's first team, introduced Tottenham's stars to local legend Pops, had Kylian Mbappe  crash a pickup game down at the Estadio, amongst coutless other professionals, and has appeared in EA Sports FIFA20. What started as a local movement has created global impact. The club has developed a youth academy, unlike any other, taking local kids from the streets and creating opportunities to compete against some of the best in the sport. VBFC's youth has attracted teams to play in Venice, such as LAFC, Barcelona, and Montefermeil. Many of their youth players compete in the streets during the Sunday pickup game, battling against full-grown adults and ex-professionals.
