Vevents UK
www.vevents.orgCharlie Vanstone is an International, UK based Production Manager, Event Producer, Sound Engineer and Tour Manager. I started my career back in 2008, a few of the teachers at my school had organised a medium-sized music festival called "Sellindge Music Festival", this is where I cut my teeth as a stagehand, my form tutor Kate Sampson offered to bring me there for the weekend the help. I was blown away from the moment I arrived, seeing everything I saw I knew I wanted to keep pursuing this line of work. I got acquainted with the local sound company who was running the entire production for the festival and asked if I could join the team, to which they accepted, 13 years old, stagehand and general assistant, this quickly moved onto Sound Engineering as the years went on. Over the years to come, I got involved with different roles within the industry, Artist Liaison, Stage Manager, Promoter, Production Manager, Logistics Coordinator and Event Manager. I began working more shows and more festivals which gave me a greater knowledge of how the music industry works. I've seen it go really well, but I've also seen it go really bad, this is where the learning and years of experience have come in handy in my current day to day life. Over the last 7 years, I've been involved with touring bands and artists from all around the UK, Europe and USA. I have clients based in Germany, Switzerland, US, UK and Sweden. Over these years I've made important connections with suppliers and crew in all these areas. These days I'm producing high-quality live events for my clients and coordinating film shoots for tourism companies and artist/bands alike.
