Asia-Pacific Youth Organisation
www.apyo.orgThe Asia-Pacific Youth Organisation (APYO) is a youth-led, non-profit organisation that seeks to enhance youth participation in policymaking across the Asia-Pacific. We were founded in 2010 by a group of students looking to support opportunities for young people working on the future of the region. The APYO operates branches in Australia and Singapore. Our volunteer staff, all aged 18-35, are drawn from across the Asia-Pacific. Our vision is of an Asia-Pacific where young people have the opportunity to fully engage with the design and implementation of public policy within their communities. In achieving this, our mission is to provide platforms within the Asia-Pacific which enable young people and governments to work together to pursue more inclusive and effective policymaking.
