Z-LASER America is a subsidiary of Z-LASER Optoelektronik GmbH; a laser manufacturer from Freiburg Germany. The office was opened in 2010 to provide sales and support services to the growing number of OEMs and system integrators using our lasers. We have been successful in attracting new OEMs in our traditional market of 3D image processing with our robust and accurate ZM18 series. Some of our new products such as our 7W ZQ2 have also opened up new markets in road inspection as well as rail inspection and is in high demand for high speed imaging applications as well. Our latest product, the ZFSM is a fibre-coupled laser that is very stable over the 0-50 degree Celsius range and is attracting numerous customers from the Bio-medical field for spectroscopy and cytometry applications. It also produces a perfect 99.999% round dot that can vastly improve today's spot laser measurement systems. This near perfectly round dot also allows us to create optics for the electronics or AOI marketplace with Powell lenses producing lines only 7 micron wide at a working distance of 100mm allowing these customers to resolve things on the smallest of scales using traditional cameras. We have also seen tremendous interest in our latest module that combines the output of up to 4 ZFSM modules into a single fibre, the ZFSM modules can be of different colors (RGB + infrared) or can be all of the same color reducing speckle by up to 60%.
