With the release of the vinyl First Level EP in October 2002, Underground Records Brasil was born. So far it has released more than one hundred Brazilian artists in EPs and mixed compilations. URBR was idealized and founded by DJ and producer Michel Palazzo, who along with musician Eduardo Ferreira and VJSpetto, saw in the national market the possibilitie to start a specialized label that could better assist the Brazilian electronic scene. URBR has as a mission to work with famous artists and new talents as well, in the intent to bring a quality product to the public and export the Brazilian electronic music. It seeks to professionalize the career of the new DJs and producers, with both an artistic and a press department active full time. Always offering international pattern quality products, working the image of the artists totally integrated with their music, developing special projects to add cultural value to a wide range of products, and maintaining a solid posture in the market, URBR is a company which seeks to make the Brazilian electronic music more accessible to all audiences, and treat it like it should: as a trace of the culture of the country.
