Relief Podiatry
www.reliefpodiatry.com.auEstablished in 2006, Relief Podiatry has been a pillar of the South Western Sydney community. Relief is a primary health care provider offering a range of Podiatry clinical services and connecting community-based patients with the primary health services they require. We operate in 3 different locations. While our services are primarily focused on the allied health discipline of Podiatry, we work with other specialised Allied Health Services. We employ the most current, evidence-based practices, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. Relief has a strong relationship with the University of Western Sydney, acting as a teaching clinic for the next generation of Podiatrists! At Relief Podiatry we aim to improve and maintain the health of the community ensuring that our patients receive the support and care they require. The needs of our patients are often complex involving multiple diagnoses, and we work alongside Work Cover and the NDIS to ensure our patients are connected with the correct therapies and health services to provide a seamless continuum of care. In this way we are part of a broader primary healthcare system which includes General Practitioners (GPs), a range of allied health professionals, such as Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Speech Therapists and Dentists, and occasionally Podiatric Surgeons. Working across this spectrum of Primary Health Care, we work closely with our clients to help them access further services and funding from government bodies (such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme, NDIS), Work Cover, DVA, community clinics and private organisations such as private health insurers.
