Aero Conditioner Company, LLC
www.aeroconditioner.comAero Conditioner Company (ACC) designs and builds all its air conditioners for harsh environments—corrosive, dusty, hot (and cold), humid, and when necessary, vibrating, high-altitude or hazardous locations. All models have stainless-steel cabinets—even interior parts (type 304 or 316) and anti-corrosion, epoxy-coated condensers and evaporators. To help prevent clogging of condensers in dusty locations, ACC uses ten or fewer heavyweight fins per inch in the condensers and evaporators and powerful blowers. All motors are totally-enclosed—rated IP54 or tighter. ACC makes two equally tough lines: one maintains its full-rated cooling capacity at ambient temperatures of up to 131ºF (55ºC) and at high altitudes—up to 145ºF (63ºC) as option; the second line up to 110ºF (43ºC) and medium altitudes. Both lines continue to cool under low-ambient conditions: standard down to 40ºF/5ºC, as option down to -40ºC/F. ACC air conditioners have an access panel behind the evaporator that allows cleaning the evaporator coils from behind. ACC designs all units with mechanical controls to eliminate the sensitivity of electronics and to enable quick repairs, even in remote locations when spare parts are scarce. If the power fails, all units automatically restart when power returns to make them dependable in remote or unattended applications. ACC protects all controls inside a NEMA 4X/IP66 box (unless unit is made for hazardous (explosive) gases or dusts, in which case enclosures meet NEMA 7/9 specifications). Units have dry contacts to allow remote monitoring and operation with mechanical controls and to enable users to install their thermostats at the critical locations in the conditioned space, not just on the air conditioner. These contacts operate on 24-volts or on intrinsically-safe current so user can install inexpensive, ordinary-location controls. ACC also makes industrial-grade, harsh-duty, high-ambient, explosion-proof and/or ADA-compliant bottled-water coolers.
