The Kuala Lumpur Society for International Affairs or KL Society is a non-profit organisation dedicated to nurture a generation of global-minded Malaysian leaders. Its mission is to build the bridge between Malaysia and the world by promoting global engagement. Inspired by the U.S.-based Foreign Policy Association (FPA), KL Society seeks to encourage the Malaysian public to be more involved in international relations. We do this through 3 pillars of ICE (Inform, Contribute, Engage). The Kuala Lumpur Society for International Affairs is led by a small but dedicated group of leaders passionate about international relations. In promoting global engagement, the Society actively engages with all stakeholders -- government, business, civil society, international bodies. The KL Society believes in channeling the voice of the people for better decision-making processes in foreign policy -- often thought to be the domain of the elite.
