The Body Activists provide workshops, education, consulting services, mentoring, and “activist-ing” leadership to businesses, organizations, schools, and individuals. Our specialties are in the issues of weight stigma, fatphobia, body image, and discrimination regarding body size. The Body Activists integrate quantitative research, experience-based testimonials, dialogue and discussion, and authentic connections in order to educate and encourage leaders to see from different points of view and make active changes in their communities. In addition to these services, Serena Nangia hosts a podcast titled The Body Activism Podcast which engages in conversations with the goals of debunking commonly held myths, challenging stereotypes, and educating about the realities of what it is to live in a body in the 2020s.
