The VET approach focuses on high-impact areas strongly correlated with successful transition to civilian life: meaningful employment, health and fitness, and community. Our flagship program is a unique leadership retreat carefully designed to build lasting relationships between transitioning military members and high level executives in an environment where veterans can “interview” on their own terms, showcasing their leadership experience and critical thinking abilities. In addition to exclusive recruiting access to elite military members, corporate executives will be able to participate in a unique and unforgettable team-building retreat while developing their own leadership abilities through activities drawn from special operations training, such as patrolling, land navigation, and target execution. In addition to the retreats, VET supports Ohio veterans by providing free resources and services organized around the following high-impact focus areas: Community: A local facility for veterans to meet, work, train, and develop a sense of support and camaraderie that many miss after leaving service. Social events, activities, and integration with the local community, including school outreach and mentorship programs. Health and Fitness: An elite athletic training facility, access to professional physical fitness, nutrition, and mental health services, screening and support for PTSD and SUD. Meaningful Employment: Career counseling, resumé and professional network development, internship placement, co-working spaces.
