Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit society founded in the 1980's with the vision of tackling the world's most pressing problems through engineering. Engineers Without Borders Manipal was founded by a group of students in 2016 to contribute to this cause. We hope to realize this vision through simple but innovative solutions that touch the lives of people every day. We are involved in the entire process of improvement and empowerment, from problem identification to the design, implementation, and support of solutions, with an added continual emphasis on education and vocational training. Our Mission We aim to empower communities of the underprivileged to fulfill their own basic needs of fresh water supply, housing, energy, sanitation, and nutrition through innovative engineering solutions spearheaded by students, corporate organizations, and educational institutions.
