COSMOPOLITAN PLUS, A welfare, non profit, non Government organization was founded in 2005 to work in NCT of Delhi, Registered under the, ’Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860’, regn. No. S-53775/2005, its major aims and objectives amongst others include, To promote welfare of women and children and create awareness and sensitization about various rights and provisions under Indian Laws and different Government schemes against child abuse, sexual harassment of women at work places, un equitable treatment to women in employment by organizing awareness camps, sensitization workshops, training programs by subject expert. Cosmopolitan Plus is credited with organising maximum no. Of awareness sessions on “Prevention of Sexual Harassment of women at Work place” in the whole country for general public, Corporates and all major PSUs and Govt. Departments and is also approved by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. Of India vide their order no. 13016/5/2015-WW, dated 17.02.17, as a resource institution to conduct these awareness programs. To protect and promote Indian art, music, culture, traditions, languages etc. Of different kinds by organizing art and culture festivals, seminars, workshops, publication of articles/books and also establishing recreation centres, libraries, clubs etc. To impart training to members of the public on the above subjects by opening schools, training centres.
