Institute For Social Innovation & Impact
www.northampton.ac.ukThe University of Northampton's Institute for Social Innovation & Impact supports social innovators through academic research and measurement. We evaluate and measure the impact of social innovations in the UK and around the world, while also exploring the financing of, and policy support for, social innovation. Our definition of social impact is ‘the economic, social and environmental benefits delivered by an organisation to society’ while we view social innovation as any new structure or process that enhances society’s resources and cohesion. The Institute collaborates on multi-disciplinary research projects through internal partnerships with other research institutes and centres, as well through external partnerships with other universities and organisations. The ISII has research interests in six areas: • Social Innovation • Social Investment • Social Impact and Social Value • Public Service Reform • Social Entrepreneurship • Social Policy Do these match your interests?
