The Children’s Safety Education Foundation was founded in 2004 and exists to save lives by providing children and young people with the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions about the risks and dangers they face in their day-to-day life. Since our launch over 1.5 million children have benefited from our safety education programmes that focus on prevention rather than cure. Our resources are designed to encourage young people to respect themselves, others and the community on key issues of personal safety and citizenship. The key message that we convey to children is that ‘all actions and choices have consequences’.
