St Georges Hall, Liverpool

www.stgeorgeshallliverpool.co.uk

We are St George's Hall: Liverpool's iconic, neoclassical Grade I listed venue for commercial & corporate events, weddings and history. Our venue is unique in concept and design, having initially being built in 1854 as a location for music festivals, which also featured crown and civic courts of various sizes. Today, the Hall is recognised as the emotional heart of Liverpool - a place where people come from near and far to congregate, celebrate and commemorate. Important moments happen here: moments following the deaths of the Beatles John Lennon and George Harrison; the homecomings of Liverpool and Everton football teams after Cup Final victories; the Peoples’ Opening of Liverpool's European Capital of Culture celebrations in 2008, when Ringo Starr played from the roof of the building to over 50,000 people. Situated opposite Liverpool Lime Street Station, we are based in a central location. However, it is the place that we hold in people's hearts which we pride ourselves upon - not just through gatherings or commemorations, but through the memorable events and weddings that we have hosted since our £23million renovation and reopening from Prince Charles back in 2007. If you would like to be part of our story, we would like to be part of yours. Visit our website today to learn more about the great spaces inside St George's Hall. From the breathtakingly beautiful circular Concert Room to the grandiose Great Hall, we always have room for your needs - whether it be a wedding, or a corporate or commercial event. Part of Culture Liverpool, Liverpool City Council, we are also the sister building of Liverpool Town Hall.
