Event Industry Ireland (EII) Event Industry Ireland is an association of business professionals and owners from the Irish events industry who have been brought together to support the events industry in Ireland. EII is run by its members, for the benefit of its members, through an elected board. The Events Industry in Ireland In Ireland, the events industry is comprised of a number of diverse industry sectors including, but not limited to, conferences, music events, exhibitions, trade shows, sporting and cultural events, event hospitality, venues, festivals, promoters, incentive travel, theatre and arts, as well as other services provided to facilitate people travelling to and attending events. As an industry, we employ over 35,000 people per year and generate over €3.5billion towards the Irish economy annually, with €850million coming from the export market. Who We Are Event Industry Ireland is a group whose aim is to give voice to the Irish events industry to ensure we are heard at Government level to help advocate for and shape the future of events in Ireland. Our Mission Our mission is to support growth across the entire sector via advocacy, networking, collaboration and a collective voice. Our Aim We aim to be the voice of the multi-billion events industry, to serve the collective needs of event organisers and suppliers, and to promote the interests of our members and the industry at large. By collectively working together, the objective of EII is to support growth across the entire sector via advocacy, networking, collaboration and a collective voice to ensure the high standard of events in Ireland are met and adhered to by all members.
