The Atlantic Region Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies (ARAISA) is an umbrella association that serves as a collective voice and forum for members who are committed to the settlement and integration of immigrants and refugees in the Atlantic region. Here is what we do: ● facilitate an information exchange process among newcomer serving agencies ● act as a collective voice representing the interests of immigrants, refugees, service providers and service organizations ● encourage the training and professional development of settlement staff ● assist the government in the formulation and implementation of policies and programs
