Besides practicing these methods ourselves, we've taught and mentored hundreds of Black Belts and Green Belts. While we strongly believe in these methods, we've noticed two trends: First, that people complain that it's too complicated. That there are too many tools and it's not clear how or when to use them. Second, most projects don't require sophisticated statistical methods or other complicated procedures. At Sigma Done Simply, we can use all of the statistical tools available. But we agree that it's often not necessary and more confusing than it's worth. Instead we will help your project leads to quickly and efficiently find solutions. We use the simplest method that accomplishes the tasks. In some rare cases, the simplest method still turns out to be complicated and in those cases we'll lead you though it. But we're not interested in making things any more complicated than absolutely necessary.
