BABSOC (Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences Society) is a society from UNSW that brings innovation, entrepreneurial skills and biotechnology & biomolecular sciences together. We cater for more than 2000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Our Mission We aim to promote a sense of community within the school by connecting students and alumni with a shared interest and passion for the research, commercialization, and innovation of Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology. As a result, BABSOC members experience positive & interactive community involvement with BABS students and staff; external scientific researchers; science-based industry, and all stakeholders involved in the commercialisation and translation of scientific discovery.
