www.wwcca.orgThe Western Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association (WWCCA) is a regionally focused, local association working cooperatively with the four wall and ceiling labor groups: Carpenters (UBC), Finishers (IUPAT), Plasterers (OPCMIA), and Laborers (LIUNA). WWCCA is dedicated to representing the interests and needs of signatory contractors in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. Our association is fortified by a rich history, working as a center point of the construction industry since 1901. We work cooperatively for a common goal to support our members and grow our industry. Pioneer | Collaborate | Support | Cultivate MEMBERSHIP Contractor members of WWCCA receive membership to these national associations at no additional cost: • Signatory Wall and Ceiling Contractors Association (SWACCA) • Finishing Contractors Association International (FCA International) • Associated Walls & Ceilings Industry (AWCI) ADVOCACY Members can rely on WWCCA for assistance and support in different areas, such as: • Representation through contract negotiations • Assistance with labor/management issues • Local and regional legislation efforts • Representation on local trust funds (health and welfare, labor/management, apprenticeship, retirement, and more.) • First-look knowledge of industry leading changes and emerging technology • Peer-to-peer path to company ownership • Women in construction NETWORKING WWCCA offers a number of opportunities for contractor members to meet with other professionals in the industry including: • Educational meetings, trainings and panel discussions • Annual Walter F. Pruter Project of the Year Awards • Golf tournaments • Charity events TECHNICAL SERVICES The Technical Services Information Bureau (TSIB) is the technical department for WWCCA, providing education and technical support to the design community, code officials, and the signatory contractors for the wall and ceiling industry.
