Ilkeston Running Club prides itself on our friendly, social approach to running and now has over 100 members with ages ranging from 18 to 70+. Members enjoy the benefits of taking part in the local Booth Decorators League Road and Cross Country races during the year as well as organising our own 10 mile race around Shipley Park in August. We hold a monthly 5k run to monitor your performance and also run a non competitive club championship alongside our League Championship. We have many experienced runners who are willing to provide support and advice, whether your goal is just to get fitter or if you have your sights on smashing a PB. We meet twice a week, on Tuesday's and Thursday nights just before 7.00pm just inside the main building at reception at the Rutland Sports Park. The Rutland Sports Park has good parking facilities, showers, lockers and a purpose built running track that we occasionally use. Everyone is welcome at our club whether you're a jogger or a competitive runner we'd love you to join us!
