Beverage Partners Worldwide (BPW), a joint venture company between The Coca-Cola Company and Nestlé SA marketing the brand NESTEA, is a leading player in the fast growing ready-to-drink tea category in the beverage industry. BPW, a partnership that started in 1991, is currently based in Zurich, Switzerland and markets the NESTEA brand in 52 countries, spanning Europe, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. History BPW began in 1991 as Coca-Cola Nestlé Refreshments Company S.A., created to develop the business of ready-to-drink coffee, chocolate and tea around the world. The Coca-Cola Company and Nestlé S.A. are equal partners in the joint venture. In 2002, the venture was renamed as Beverage Partners Worldwide SA and in 2007 was restructured to focus on developing and marketing ready-to-drink tea, in particular NESTEA®. In 2012, it was decided to concentrate the operations of the joint venture within Eastern and Western Europe, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Bottling Partners BPW works in collaboration with Coca-Cola bottling partners, who produce, package, distribute and merchandise NESTEA across its markets.
