IOANA is an energetic young company with a wide range of design & architecture projects centered around the philosophy that we need to experience meaningful, beautiful things on a daily basis. PRINCIPAL: Ioana Urma, is a LEED AP (green/sustainability) California & Massachusetts registered architect with degrees from M.I.T. & Cornell University and a broad range of design experience. She also teaches architecture & design at Otis College of Art & Design, and has previously taught at Art Center College of Design, Roger Williams University, Boston Architectural College, and lectured at USC AME (on visual learning), BAC (on marketing), and Jerde (on sustainability). COLLABORATIONS: The company is currently collaborating with two educational non-profits, Iridescent & Kidwind to create conceptually based educational material that will inspire kids into strong careers.
