Prior to 1985, El Paso’s parking needs were dominated by the country’s largest parking operator and a semi-national parking company. After studying the market for a few years, DPI was formed in 1985 to bring strong, educated local parking management to the area by meticulously studying the local market and utilizing the analytical abilities of modern software and computer systems. Since then DPI has grown to manage, lease, or own as many as 4,000 parking spaces in a variety of parking garages and surface lots ranging from fully-automated facilities to valet garages to unstaffed surface lots. Out list of clients have included Hospital Corporation of America, El Paso Electric, El Paso Natural Gas, BorderPlex, El Diario, United Bank, and WestStar Bank. With a staff of approximately 50 employees, DPI probably has the largest staff in El Paso and is proud to be the only locally-owned parking management company in the city of El Paso.
