Knowsley Disability Concern (Charity Reg no: 1103477) has been supporting local people who face challenges by reason of their disability for more than 30 years. Originally established in 1979 as a service for adults with learning disabilities KDC has developed and evolved into a modern, forward-thinking agency specialising in delivering services to support local people to live independent lives in the community. Our Vision is to see communities where all people are included, live independently and are valued as equal citizens Our Mission is to provide high quality, innovative services that support disabled people to exercise their rights, choice, control and achieve independence. We work closely with Knowsley Social Services as well as the local Primary Care Trusts and sit on the strategic partnership boards.
