Prior to founding Hensler Surgical, Sean was a combat medic for the Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Lejeune with 1st Battalion 2nd Marines. He later completed his PA studies at Nova Southeastern and operated with Dr. Melin in Neurological Surgery for almost 13 years. Dr. Thomas Melin has nearly 30 years experience in neurological surgery. He completed his Neurosurgical training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Hensler Bone Press and the Hensler Bone Collector are devices that were invented, engineered, and sold globally by Mr. Hensler and Dr. Melin. Both devices are centered around Autograft harvesting for spinal and orthopedic surgeries, decreasing not only the reliance of synthetics and/biologics, but improving the flow of the case while utilizing these devices intra-op.
