NORDA Regional Development Agency of North-Hungary is a public equivalent body, owned by the three county-level governments of the region (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Heves and Nógrád), employing 13 territorial development experts dealing with economic development, tourism, human resources/local community issues, settlement development, transport and environment. Cross-border, territorial and interregional cooperation under e.g. HORIZON 2020, CE, INTERREG EUROPE, ERASMUS+, EUROPEAID, Visegrad Funds or other relevant funding sources in the fields of sustainable tourism, cultural heritage, energy efficiency, eco-innovation, climate change, healthy aging, SME support and emerging industries are additional activities for the Agency to complement SF and nationally funded territorial development in the area.
