Facilities Management Construction & Rail TRS was established in 1980 as an industrial refrigeration engineering company providing an installation and reactive service to a diverse client base.   Several years of steady growth and development were achieved with a core of experienced engineers and constant investment in apprenticeships and training programs. Working in environments such as hospitals, hotels, pharmaceutical and manufacturing gave the business a flexible and adaptive skill set, resulting in some clients retaining our services for 20 years or more. A changing economic climate and the erosion of the traditional client base prompted the management team to investigate the feasibility of expanding into different markets and expanding the skill base within the business The senior management team took the decision to start a construction division in 2005. The work in the rail sector followed in 2007. The expansion of the heating, electrical and projects capability happened in 2008.   The current offices were purchased in 2009 with a design and construction refit carried out by TRS staff completed in January 2010. The works involved the installation of Mechanical and Electrical services to include IT infrastructure, security, Fire protection and door access systems. The offices now provided an enhanced working environment for the staff together with a workshop and storage facilities.
