Convergent Technology Research Center of the University of Tehran, which is briefly called NBIC is established with the aim of strengthening research boundaries in interdisciplinary fields, developing innovative research activities and transforming research results into new and required technologies in four areas of nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Information Technology and Cognitive Sciences.
