The Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company is looking for YOU! Volunteers are at the heart of the fire service and we have been serving Glen Ellyn for over 100 years. We are a diverse group of individuals made up of construction workers, lawyers, nurses, business professionals, and career firefighters. We are looking for motivated and community minded citizens who enjoy a sense of pride in volunteering and want to give back to their community. Our motto is NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS. The following are required to apply to become a member of the Glen Ellyn Volunteer Fire Company: -21 years of age. -Valid Illinois driver’s licence. -Reside within one (1) mile of our fire district for a minimum of 6 months. -NO APPLICATION FEE! -No experience needed.
