Yoga can be described as a dual action like work and play, heavy and light, up and down. Literally, the word translates: 'to yoke' or you could say 'to work'. So, practicing yoga requires work. To move your body and to quiet your mind takes work. To look within and see where you are tense, stiff or sore without jumping to the future or contemplating the past takes work.
