Established in 1989, South Australia Police Legacy Inc. is a charitable organisation that provides a range of services to SA police families who have suffered the loss of a loved one or police families that find themselves in circumstances of need. Independent from SA Police, SA Police Legacy Inc. is managed by a Board consisting of serving and retired Police Officers and representatives from partnering organisations. SA Police Legacy Inc. focuses on the wellbeing of children who have lost a Police Officer parent, by providing Education, Personal Development, Job Start and Wellbeing Grants as well as running Events. Widows and Widowers of SA Police are supported by SA Police Legacy Inc. via social events. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
