Farextra is a spin-off company of CERTH-ITI that aims to be involved in the Information Technologies (IT) sector. In particular, Farextra is specialized in providing end-to-end software solutions, as well as consulting services in the domains of On-the-job Training, real-time Emergency Event response and Augmented Assistance, 3D Object Detection & Recognition, Localization and Real-time data Overlay. Having as target group stakeholders and professionals from a large inter-disciplinary pool, ranging from large manufacturing industries, maintenance companies, construction, shipbuilding and aeronautics, its mission is to provide useful insight, reveal hidden correlations and facilitate the behavioural analysis of the input data in real time using data minimization approaches. Part of Farextra’s experience originates from the participation of CERTH and its founders to the SatisFactory H2020-FoF-2014 IA Project (http://www.satisfactory-project.eu/satisfactory/ ), a collaborative and augmented-enabled ecosystem for increasing SATISfaction and working experience in smart FACTORY environments, within which strong synergies with large manufacturing companies in Greece and Italy have been established. Farextra will initially capitalize upon these synergies to offer a state-of-the art Training Platform along with an extended AR/VR Toolkit to factories and other commercial partners. Farextra is driven by a passion for excellence in shaping products and services tailored to its potential customer’s needs. The team is in close cooperation with Business, Marketing and Sales experts to en-sure an effective promotion of the company’s products as well as its launch into the market.
