Founded in September 2020, the Warwick Professional LGBTUA+ and Allies Network is a society dedicated to preparing and empowering the next generation of LGBTUA+ students at the University of Warwick to reach their career goals. We are growing a new community at Warwick that comprises of talented and diverse students from a multitude of backgrounds. We seek to bridge the gap between employers and our members by equipping these students with professional and interpersonal skills so that they may compete on a level playing field regardless of their sexuality or gender identity. 2021/22 has been our first year as an operational society and despite this we have been limitless in what we have achieved. From winning the Bright Network Diversity and Inclusion Society of the Year and coming second in the Overall Society of the Year awards, to over 40+ events and working with 12 major multinational organisations to provide incredible opportunities for our members.
