The Northern California Art Therapy Association (NorCATA) is an affiliate chapter of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA).  NorCATA is  a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote professional development through education events, workshops and bi-annual conference and the therapeutic use of art throughout Northern California. We aim to foster networking and the development of support groups for therapists through regional meetings and promote public awareness of art therapy through instructional presentation to community agencies.
