Pardada Pardadi Educational Society
www.pardadapardadi.orgPPES is based in the village of Anupshahr, Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was founded by Virender (Sam) Singh, a retired head of DuPont South Asia. Pardada Pardadi is facilitating the creation of a society in which women have an equal share in the continual growth of their country by working for the following: 1. Education: - By providing VALUE-BASED EDUCATION that allows women to become economically and socially enlightened. This, in turn, creates a society in which all children have an opportunity to grow to their fullest potential. This is social empowerment, economic empowerment, and, most importantly, gender empowerment. 2. Health and Hygiene: - By providing regular vaccinations, immunizations, toothbrushes, soap, etc. to girls. These health facilities are provided free of cost to the girls studying in PPES and at subsidized rates to the community people. 3. Economic Empowerment: - PPES runs a Production Centre where women are trained to manufacture products like bags, etc. This helps in generating employment for a large section of women in the village. Additionally, PPES ensures that all the students are gainfully employed after completing class 12th. 4. Community Development: - Women are encouraged to form SHGs, making them more aware and confident in life. They are also given adequate training to enhance their livelihood.
