The by-product from the organic fraction is biomass, which can have several uses. Our solution is based on an innovative and ground-breaking non-combustion RotoSTERIL technology for advanced material recovery of non-hazardous waste (primarily municipal solid waste), which we have created and patented. Our main priority is to introduce the innovative RotoSTERIL technology to the mainstream municipal waste management. Today, the RotoSTERIL technology already meets all the European standards and enables reaching the waste management goals set for 2025, 2030, 2035. Our technology is based on steam autoclaves that sterilizes the incoming waste followed by a fully automated sorting systems. The method is based on a uniquely effective autoclaving process during which the non-sorted or sorted municipal waste is sterilised in steam autoclaves, which stops all biological life in waste and makes it odorless. The process stops CO2, CH4 and other GHGs emissions. Sterilised waste is also dry and can be easily segregated with greater effectiveness than any other known technology. This allows for maximization of the sorting result of the clean secondary raw materials: metals, plastics and glass with astonishing success rates. Thanks to the sterilization process conducted with the own-design software we are able to separate the organic fraction from the municipal waste in the highest quality. It comes out of the process in the form of biomass, which can have several uses: as a fertilizer, hygroscopic soil improver or alternative as local, renewable source of energy or as a product to further treat & process in the production of building materials, alternative packaging, biogas, hydrogen etc.
