Nyanda tours are designed to meet the requirements of school based learning. During the school tours the students learn about the history of the Nudgee Waterholes, the First Nation People, how the natural environment was used, the social events that united the tribes, and hands on participation in learning about the tools, objects and items created for everyday use. Learn about the bush foods available in the natural environment and how they were used. Schools can also organise to have stone tool making, basket weaving, black bean or boomerang painting workshops for classes, held in the Nudgee Waterholes facility. Jagera Daran Aboriginal Cultural Awareness and Heritage Training is available if your company or organisation is developing a Reconciliation Action Plan or if you’re looking for a unique cross-cultural corporate team building opportunity. We have an array of package options for you to choose from or are happy to tailor something for you. Portable ‘pop up’ Aboriginal cultural presentations, including cultural item displays, demonstrations, and bush food tastings can be extended to your event or conference program.
