LASA Marmo®
www.lasamarmo.itLasa Marmo Ltd. preserves and developes the location Lasa in South Tyrol (Italy) as a distinguished „center of marble“, to strengthen the Lasa Marble as internationally known quality brand. Lasa Marble, with its two product-segmentations "Lasa Bianco" and "Lasa Venato", is not only quarried in Lasa but also processed here. As a company, we take account of the fact that our quarry zones are located in an ecologically highly sensitive area of Stelvio National Park (Nationalpark Stilfserjoch). Our marble is transported by the ecofriendly marble cable- and railway from the quarry on 1560m asl down to the valley. Our project is to win the Lasa Marble in keeping with the ecosystem of the national park. The company works together in partnership with national and international architects and planers, trading, as well as the industrial and artisanal working. The company aims at reviving the tradition of the world-famous white natural stone from South Tyrol and update its history. Some of the latest projects are WTC Transportation Hub New York, Torre Isozaki Milan or Capitol Crossing in Washington.
