Sales and Marketing Professionals in Science (SAMPS) is the first organization for life science commercial professionals (sales, marketing, business development, client services, commercial operations and technical support) dedicated to selling and marketing to organizations (academic, government and commercial) that perform research, discovery, development, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic products and therapies. The purpose of SAMPS is to serve its members, who are among the ~60,000 people globally who work in commercial roles for life science products and services companies. Those companies include contract research and contract manufacturing organizations (CROs & CMOs), scientific equipment manufacturers, reagents manufacturers, and consultancies. The association provides a dynamic forum for the exchange of knowledge through ongoing education, information resources, and opportunities for networking and professional development for life science commercial professionals.
